American Roulette and Blackjack experience essential, CSP a bonus.
Employment is on a sub-contractor / self-employed as-and-when basis and you will be required to invoice for your fee, which will be settled by crossed cheque posted to you within 14 days.
Uniform is black trousers / skirt and white shirt / blouse with a black bowtie. If you have a cummerbund and dealers apron feel free to wear them.
If you have a coloured / multi-coloured bowtie and / or cummerbund set we'd love to see you wearing them.
Must be able to deal AR to professional UK casino single-zero standard, correct payouts, style and accuracy, with a full game commentary.
Must be able to deal BJ to a professional casino standard, with a full commentary and bags of style. I love two handed BJ dealers, drop cutting, etc.
Ability to deal CSP to a professional standard, with a full commentary and flair / showmanship - gotta do something to liven up this game :-)
Essential that dealer must have an out-going fun personality, be able to entertain and get along (laugh and joke) with players.
Must have an in-depth knowledge of and passion for the game being dealt that enables them to impart information to players in a friendly but concise way.
We expect each and every dealer to "hold court" (for want of a better expression) on their game and create the sort of gaming environment (loads of banter, whoops, high fives etc.) usually only seen on US cruise ships or Vegas on a Saturday night - the exact opposite of the horrible "customer unfriendly" atmosphere found in most UK casinos.
US cruise ship or overseas casino experience a plus, but not essential, as individual personality and ability to deal confidently is far more important, regardless of where you have worked or even time served.
